Funeral mass took place Nov. 28 at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church for Maura C. Domingo, 84, of Jersey City. She passed away Nov. 24 at Christ Hospital Jersey City. Born in Manila, Philippines to her late parents Benigno Cruz and Felipa Santiago, she resided in Jersey City the last 44 years. Maura was predeceased by her husband Saturnino (Nino). She was a medical record analyst at Orange Memorial Hospital, Orange for 30 years, retiring 1993.
She belonged to The St. Paul’s Filipino Organization, was a choir member in St. Paul the Apostle Church, and served as Eucharistic minister. Surviving are her sons Edgar, Edmund, Edwin, Edward and Emerson and daughters in law Beth, Nette, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Phoebe. She was the grandmother of Rachel, Katleen, Erin, Enzo, Elle, Ervin, Manny, Eric, Emily, Sarah, Alex, Justin, Christian and Jasmine. She was the sister of Fernando Cruz.
