Thanks for your support

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my gratitude to the city of Bayonne for electing me to serve as a Bayonne Board of Education Trustee. As I transition to my new role, which I will assume January 7, please know that I am grateful for your support, and I am honored to serve this wonderful community. I would like to commend my fellow candidates for running formidable and positive campaigns. I look forward to working with all of you to make the Bayonne Public Schools, which are already great, even better. I would like to thank my campaign staff, supporters, and all those who believed in me and voted for me. For all those who did not vote for me, I will work tirelessly to earn your confidence.
As we approach the start of the New Year, I want to focus on building: building bridges, building our community and, yes, fixing the issues. I am eager to get to work representing the people of Bayonne. Thanks to your support, I will be able to serve in an inclusive way, making sure that everyone has a seat at the table and that everyone who has something to say is heard. I am committed to representing you and continuing and building upon the progress begun by the previous board members.
Finally, please know that my door is always open. I am proud of my reputation as a person who listens and responds and works hard for people. As a concerned Bayonne citizen, I will work diligently and in an inclusive fashion to serve the community I represent. As Bayonne Board of Education Trustee, I will serve the community responsively with energy and enthusiasm.
