A funeral mass took place Oct. 13 at St. Anne RC Church, Jersey City, for Mary Bakerowski of Jersey City. She died peacefully on Oct. 9. Mary was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident. She worked for Harvey Envelope Company, Jersey City. She was the wife of the late John Bakerowski; mother of the late John J., Richard, Robert, and Kenneth Bakerowski; sister of Rose Borchert, Jean Greco, Dominick Greco Jr., and the lates Anna Palmieri, Samuel “Mickey” Greco, Antoinette “Toni” Slawinski, Loretta Miller, Bernard Greco, Louis Greco, James “Butch” Greco, Carmine E. Greco, and Camilla Flannagan. Survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews, also grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Houghton Funeral Home, Jersey City.
