Funeral services were held Sept. 16 for Giustina Piccininni, 69, of Weehawken. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and reunited with her husband Frank Piccininni (2007) on Sept. 12th. Born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy in 1946, she met and married Frank in 1965, moving to the United States.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Piccininni, her parents Lazzaro and Maria Bufi, and brother-in Law Guiseppe DeCesare. Survived by her daughters, Agnes and husband Antonio Annese, Maria and husband Alex Rendine, JoAnn Buckingham and fiance Jim Casey. Grandchildren Joseph and Frank Annese, Michael and Nicholas Rendine, Andrew and Justine Buckingham. Sister Maria DeCesare, Brother Giovanni Bufi and wife Carmela Bufi. Nephews John DeCesare and Lazzaro Bufi, Nieces Sara Stratton and husband Anthony Stratton. Mary Ann Guadagno and husband Ralph Guadagno and AnnaMaria Bufi.
Giustina worked most of her life as a seamstress and was extremely devoted to her family. During her retirement years she worked part-time as a school aide at Daniel Webster School in Weehawken. She adored her job and working with Pre-K and Kindergarten children. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
