A funeral mass was offered July 24 at Immaculate Conception Church for Mary Mahoney. She passed away July 17 at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Mary was born in New York and lived and worked most of her life in Secaucus. Mary worked for the Trust Company Bank in Secaucus as head teller for 35 years. After she retired from the bank, she worked as a crossing guard for the town of Secaucus.
Mary was an avid ballroom dancer with many 1st place trophies to show for her accomplishments. She was an avid traveler going all over Europe to places like Italy and England and Greece and lots of other places. Mary loved going on cruises and meeting new people. Mary moved to Florida and lived with her daughter Karen before going into assisted living in Mount Dora.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Patrick and her brother Lawrence Chase. Mary is survived by her daughter Karen Leach (John) and granddaughter Kelly Leach, sisters Lucille Tattoli (Giulio), Veronica Werner (Ralph deceased), brother Leo Chase; nieces Roseann Kennedy (Gerard), Susan Olson (Steven), Veronica Melendez (Felix), Louise Negron (Carlos), Lawrie (Jay), Tina and Catherine Leonard, Susanlee Tattoli (Andy), Marysusan Hooyman (Rich), nephew Christopher Chase and all their children. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
