UNION CITY – The City of Union City will hold a flag-raising ceremony on Wednesday, June 24 at noon in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Korean War. The ceremony will take place at International Park, located on the corner of Palisade Avenue and 38th Street. In the event of rain, the event will be held in the lobby of 3700 Palisade Avenue.
The ceremony will include several invited guest speakers and the raising of the Korean flag. Members of Korean organizations are expected to attend the ceremony. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
