A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated June 15 at Christ the King Church, Jersey City, for Joy Lynn Pettway, 46. She passed away, surrounded by her family, on June 6. Joy was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident. For nineteen years she was employed as a transaction processor for Computershare Investor Service in Jersey City. Joy was the daughter of Edith Pettway and the late William Pettway; sister of Janice Pettway, Linda Rodgers and her husband David, and the late Pamela Pettway; aunt of Mark Rodgers and Valerie Webb and great aunt of Pamela Boykin. Joy is also survived by many cousins, friends and coworkers who will miss her dearly. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
