JERSEY CITY — Darcel Rivers, 35, of Rhode Island, was shot once in the back of the head during a robbery on Thursday near Fulton Avenue in Jersey City early Thursday morning.
Rivera was found on the sidewalk at about 3:45 a.m. and pronounced dead a half hour later at Jersey City Medical Center.
Rivera was reportedly walking to his mother’s house when someone attempted to rob him.
