HOBOKEN–Interested in getting down and dirty in honor of Earth Day? Come help the Hoboken Volunteers deck out the Community Garden this Saturday, April 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The group will be spreading gravel on walkways and building a new storage shed in the garden, which is located at Third and Jackson streets.
The event is being organized in partnership with the city of Hoboken.
Volunteers can RSVP by email to volunteers.hoboken@gmail.com and are asked to bring their own gloves and shovels and wear appropriate clothing if possible.
