LIPSKA, HELEN A.

A mass of Christian burial was offered April 11 at St. John the Baptist Church for Helen A. Lipska, 88, a lifelong Jersey City resident. She passed away at Hamilton Park Rehabilitation Center in Jersey City on April 7 after a short illness. Helen was a bookkeeper for Gumpert Manufacturing in Jersey City for forty years before retiring in 1981. She was an active and parishioner of both St. John the Baptist and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Churches. Helen was also an active member of the Grandview Apartment Association. Helen was always proud of the accomplishments of her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them and with her friends. Helen was predeceased by her siblings, Victoria McDermott, Jean Ozimblo, Stanley, Joseph and Felix Lipski and nephew Anthony Lipski. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Walter and Joanne Ozimblo, Stephen and Yraida Lipski; great nieces, Kelly and Kate Ozimblo and niece-in-law, Colleen “Terry” Lipski. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Jersey City.
