CALVIN allowed five in four, but the bullpen gave up one run and the offense banged out 11 to pick up the slack and secure the win for CASSESA’S. ANTHONY HENRIQUEZ put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for CASSESA’S. He doubled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings. CASSESA’S was sparked by THEO INHULSEN and ANTHONY, who teamed up for seven hits and six RBIs.
ANTHONY PERRINOD leads ELKS to 12-3 victory
ANTHONY PERRINOD powered ELKS at the plate and on the hill Thursday, willing ELKS to a 12-3 victory over CHIRICHELLA BOYS. ANTHONY put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for ELKS. POLICE DEPT. scored five runs in the fourth on an RBI double by LUCA CONETTA, an RBI triple by JACOB JARRETT, a steal of home by JACOB. LUCA had two extra-base hits for POLICE DEPT. JACOB struck out 13, paving the way for a POLICE DEPT. win. DANNY HANSON boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace MAS DEMOLITION. CHARLTON ALONSO, DOMINICK CHINCHILLA, LUCA and JACOB helped lead POLICE DEPT. POLICE DEPT. never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring three runs on a two-run error and an RBI single by DANIEL WEHRHAHN.
MARIO’S PIZZA falls to FIORE’S 5-3
Not even a strong hitting performance from HUDSON PORADA could carry MARIO’S PIZZA past FIORE’S at Hoboken on Saturday as MARIO’S PIZZA suffered a 5-3 defeat. HUDSON led MARIO’S PIZZA’s offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. FIORE’S went up for good on an RBI double by JOSEPH SOBOLOV off ANDREW WHOLF, plating FIORE. R. J. FIORE got on base four times in the game for FIORE’S. He doubled in the fourth inning. SAMMY COOPER got it done on the bump on the way to a win. FIORE’S grabbed the early lead, 1-0. JUSTIN BROWN leads YOUNG DEMS to 12-0 victory
JUSTIN BROWN was strong at the plate and on the hill in carrying YOUNG DEMS to a 12-0 victory over MAS DEMOLITION on Tuesday at Hoboken. JUSTIN racked up two RBIs on two hits for YOUNG DEMS. JUSTIN put together a nice outing. Five runs in the first three innings helped YOUNG DEMS blow out MAS DEMOLITION. A walk by JASON BLANKS and an RBI single by KYLE SMITH during the first inning and an RBI double by JUSTIN, an error, and a steal of home by JUSTIN in the second inning fueled YOUNG DEMS’ offense early.
MARIO’S PIZZA defeats PICCOLO’S 17-6
Tuesday was a rough outing for HUDSON PORADA, but MARIO’S PIZZA still managed to pull out a 17-6 victory over PICCOLO’S in six innings at Hoboken. MARIO’S PIZZA finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. MARIO’S PIZZA went up for good on a two-run single by ANDREW WHOLF off TROY REYNOLDS, plating JACOB GUGLBERGER and FRANK DIGIACOMO. A two-run single by ANDREW scored JACOB and FRANK to give MARIO’S PIZZA the lead for good. BENNY LOVE racked up three RBIs on three hits for MARIO’S PIZZA. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the sixth inning. PICCOLO’S scored on a two-run error and an RBI single by CHRISTIAN CONTE. MARIO’S PIZZA increased its lead in the fifth, as MALCOLM KRON doubled, plating BENNY to kick things off. DOMINICK CASTELLITOS played well for Mario’s Pizza.
