Dear Editor:
North Bergen Democrats will have a very important decision to make on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 (Primary Election Day). Our current Hudson County Freeholder Thomas Liggio has chosen to retire after many years of valuable service. We must now choose who we want to nominate in order to represent our party on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 (General Election Day). I urge my fellowDemocrats to join me in voting for Anthony Vainieri.
As a successful business owner and community organizer, Anthony has deep roots in North Bergen. He is the owner of Vainieri Funeral Home and has helped hundreds of local families in their time of need. Anthony is a member of the Hudson County Schools of Technology Board of Education and has helped make the district one of the best in New Jersey. He has worked closely with our Mayor & State Senator Nick Sacco as his chief of staff and legislative aide and has his full support. Anthony has also been endorsed by the North Bergen Democratic Municipal Committee and the Hudson County Democratic Organization.
I have known Anthony for years and I know he will make an excellent county freeholder. He will work closely with County Executive Tom DeGise in order to make sure we receive the vital services we pay for and deserve. Anthony has solid relationships with key players at all levels of government. It is for all of these reasons and more that my family and I look forward to voting for Anthony Vainieri. He will certainly get the job done!
