Happy Earth Day to you!!

Weehawken’s Webster School Parent Participating Association (PTPA) helped Webster School children celebrate Earth Day by providing petunias for students to plant in the Webster School Reading Garden.
PTPA members, including coordinator Anna Ricciardi, were there to help children dig holes and plant their flowers.
Children were also given bags of seeds to take home to start their own gardens. Kelly Fitzgerald and Donna Morris, from the Weehawken Public Library, were also on hand to read planet-friendly stories to the children as they waited their turn to plant.
It was a beautiful day, and children came back to school a little dirty, but very happy.
