James C. DeAngelo, ’85, principal of Saint Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, has announced that local residents James Ryan, ’14, of Bayonne, Harsh Patel, ’14 of Union City, and Lucas Voli, ’14, of Secaucus have been named Commended Students in the 2014 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
