Let’s trust his vision one more time

Dear Editor:
I am taking this opportunity to express how proud I am to be a resident of Union City. Last week I was walking by Washington Park and enjoyed thinking how stunning this beautiful park will be after the construction of the new field and the planting of over 1700 between trees and plants.
On my walk around the park, I noticed almost 30 trees knocked down, a situation that could create a sad and uncomfortable feeling to a group of residents; however, this project is planting 56.6, between plants and trees, per each one of those 30 trees. This is another opportunity to trust the vision of a person like Senator and Mayor Brian P. Stack who day by day demonstrates a clear and spectacular projection for the future of our community.
Let’s trust his vision one more time like we did in the past when a group of residents were against the demolition of the Doric Temple and today is a beautiful and family oriented swimming pool and park, a piece of heaven in our city. Furthermore, let’s remember when we trusted Senator and Mayor Brian P. Stack with the demolition of Roosevelt Stadium to build the first high school in Union City in more than 90 years.
I encourage everyone to trust Senator and Mayor Brian P. Stack’s vision one more time.

Sincerely,
Andres A Garcia
Union City Resident
