Hoboken: Saturday updates post-Hurricane Sandy

HOBOKEN — The print edition of the Hudson Reporter for Hoboken and other towns was printed at a remote location, as the Reporter office in Hoboken is without power. The paper is being distributed Saturday. The stories are also posted on the lower half of this page, hudsonreporter.com.
Some updates for Hoboken:
Those with little or no power in Hoboken can get updates at City Hall at First and Washington streets, where Mayor Dawn Zimmer has given some briefings. Information is also posted on a bulletin board at City Hall.
Officials said that Zimmer planned to hold a meeting with city officials and council people Saturday to update them on recovery and help efforts.
Restaurants and food trucks throughout the city were giving away food. Volunteers were distributing presciption medications to seniors.
