A liturgy of Christian burial was offered Oct. 22 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken for Vera Marra, 90, of Hoboken. She passed away Oct. 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Vera was born in Hoboken and was a lifelong resident. She worked for the Board of Education as a secretary, at the No. 8 School in Hoboken. Vera was the daughter of the late Daniel and Veronica Miele; mother of Ralph Marra Jr. and Vera Marie Marra; sister of the late Joseph Miele; aunt of Daniel Miele. Services arranged by the Lawton Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
