Hurricane Sandy updates: Jersey City schools closed Monday; Hoboken announces shelters; some Amtrak canceled

HUDSON COUNTY — Hoboken announced they will open the Wallace School at 11th and Willow Avenue as a shelter during Hurricane Sandy, although the exact time was not available. They may also make use of Hoboken High School at Ninth and Clinton streets.
In both Jersey City and Hoboken, schools are closed Monday.
The Hudson Reporter office is closed Monday.
Many businesses were open on Washington Street in Hoboken on Sunday, expecting to close later. The Hoboken House Tour went on as planned.
