RECAP: Real Housewives of New Jersey, Season 4, Reunion Part 3

NEW JERSEY — This is one of the last recaps of this season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey — not the last one, because apparently, there’s going to be “lost footage” next week. Thank goodness. Bravo wants ratings and so do we. In any case, you’re reading the web site of the Hudson Reporter community newspaper group (hudsonreporter.com), based in Hoboken. Hoboken is home to three of the stars of this show (Albie Manzo, Chris Manzo, and Greg Bennett). So we feel justified in bringing you these goofy recaps each week.
THIS JUST IN!
So the big news in the conclusion of the “Real Housewives” reunion was that Joe Gorga actually was an exotic dancer…back in college. He’s not ashamed of it, and he says he made good money. So apparently he didn’t just do it twice like the West New York mayoral hopeful we wrote about two months ago (hey, all politics is local).
On this episode, the rest of the men joined Joe Giudice. You had Chris Laurita (generally the voice of reason, except that he invested in water), Richie Wakile (sometimes funny, sometimes too crude) and of course, Joe Gorga (a self-proclaimed “angel from God” who doesn’t know the meaning of modest).
A few low lights:
-Rich Wakile said that when his kids complained about him showing his er*****n on TV, he said, “How do you think you got here?” or something like that. No one on the reunion show seemed to find this too funny.
-Chris revealed that like Caroline Manzo, he isn’t on speaking terms with sister Dina Manzo. It hurts him.
-Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice sparred and cussed at each other, and argued about the missing tools again. Hey, none of the tools are in anyone’s garage – they’re yelling at each other on TV!
-Kim D. appeared. Now, can we ask something? What happened to Kim G.? They seem interchangeable. Anyhow, Kim D. admitted that she was the one who wanted to set Melissa up because she was mad that Melissa did publicity for some rival store with a similar name. That is really sinister, Kim. It seemed clear that Teresa wasn’t in on it, yet, no one really zeroed in on that. At this point it probably doesn’t matter.
-Caroline said that someday, they will all probably look back on this time fondly. Maybe. We have to give Caroline credit for ending the show on a high note. She also said she wasn’t happy with how she behaved this season. So okay, Caroline, we’ll give you another chance. Plus, you Tweeted a link to this website two weeks ago and we got more than 15,000 hits, so we can’t really complain.
Watch for next week’s recap of “The Lost Footage” (part 1 of 8?) And let’s say it one more time together…
Ah you kiddin’ me?!?!?!?
