We are truly grateful

Dear Editor:
The Mark Vogel 2nd Annual Motorcycle / BBQ Memorial held on June 2, 2012 was a huge success because of the person Mark was and the love and admiration people had for him. My family and I could not thank Mayor Michael Gonnelli and the Town Council, the Town of Secaucus, Chief Corcoran and the Secaucus Police Department, Kevin O’Connor and the DPW, Hector and his crew from Cheeseburger in Paradise, all the volunteers that helped before, during and after the Memorial enough for coming together to raise almost $10,000.00 for Little People of America (LPA) – Garden State Chapter. We must also thank impressive Printing, Natoli’s Deli, Steffens Provisions, Giovanni’s Deli, Empire Realty Group, Charlie’s Corner, Capital One Bank, Charles Ponti and TD Bank, the Follo Family, Home Depot, D2W Wrestling, Rivercat Bank, Unico, Pastor Hankel, Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari, Hudson County MC Squad, the NJ State Police, Moonachie Fire Department and EMT Squad and the PIP Police Department. I am truly grateful for all the donations received and the support that was given to make this event a great Memorial in honor of Mark’s memory.
Earlier this year I asked Assemblyman Prieto for help to have N.J. recognize Dwarfism Awareness in the month of October. It was an honor to have Steve Cuttuna on behalf of Assemblyman Prieto announce that the State of N.J. is working to declare October Dwarfism Awareness Month. Many members of LPA from N.J. and N.Y. were at the memorial to hear this announcement and support the Memorial in Mark’s honor. Mark was Treasure of the Garden State Chapter many years ago.
If we missed someone, please forgive us. We are truly grateful for everyone’s help and participation.

Sincerely,
Fred Vogel
