Funeral for Reporter columnist is Wednesday

HUDSON COUNTY — The funeral for Hudson Reporter columnist Matthew Amato will be held this Wednesday. Amato, 64, died suddenly last week. His last column will run this month.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at noon at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. The burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Amato was the son of the late Matthew and Josephine (nee Iannucci) Amato, the brother of Frances Simplot of Washington, Phyllis Cali of Montville, Frank Amato of Milltown, Ann Sullivan of North Arlington, and Ralph Amato of Paramus, and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
