Dear Editor:
I was just enjoying another issue of Hudson Reporter and came to remember that we never trick or treated when I was a kid in Weehawken back from 1939-1952. In those days we went begging on Thanksgiving. We dressed up as ragamuffins and went house to house on Thanksgiving morning to “Beg” for treats. What a great time we had back then.
