Teenagers allegedly rob people in North Bergen apt.

NORTH BERGEN – Two men were arrested yesterday after they allegedly robbed an apartment in North Bergen, police say.
According to Lt. Patrick Irwin, a 17-year-old juvenile was at an apartment on Seventh Street with friends on Monday, Oct. 17 at 9:30 p.m. The juvenile allegedly allowed an 18-year-old Jersey City man into the apartment, at which point both the 18-year-old and the 17-year-old allegedly produced guns and robbed the occupants of the apartment of $400. Both men then fled the scene.
According to police, the juvenile was arrested Tuesday at 10:31 a.m. and has been sent to the Prison Health Youth House in Secaucus.
The 18-year-old was arrested yesterday at 6:20 p.m. and charged with five counts of robbery, possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of a handgun. He was sent to Hudson County Jail in Kearny. His bail was set at $150,000, police say.- Stephen LaMarca
