JERSEY CITY — New Jersey City University freshman guard/forward Maria Suarez has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time in her career, NJCU Athletics reported. The award, for week 11 of the 2010/11 season, came after a flurry of statistical triumphs, including an average of 17 points and eight rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Gothic Knights.
