HOBOKEN, UNION CITY, AND BEYOND — In an amusing followup to our breaking news item posted earlier today — about State Sen. and Union City Mayor Brian Stack’s response to a Fox News “Shame on You” segment about his and his ex-wife’s use of city vehicles — a Hoboken-based blogger, Nancy Pincus, wrote that she wasn’t surprised.
This week, Stack released a newspaper ad saying he was “disgusted” by his ex-wife’s personal use of a city vehicle, as shown in the segment. Stack also mailed out the same letter shown in the ad to constituents in his senatorial district, which includes Hoboken. The letters bore a statement saying they were not paid for by taxpayer funds.
In response to the Reporter news item about the letter, Pincus
wrote on her blog:
“Who isn’t disgusted by their ex-wife or husband? Raise your hand. See, nobody. Everybody who’s had one got disgusted with them and got rid of them. Unless you were the disgusting one. Believe me, all of my exes were disgusting. They probably still are.”
