A funeral mass was offered Jan. 25 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, North Bergen, for Adolph “Boobie” Theobald, 98, a lifelong resident of West New York. He passed away Jan. 20. He was a retired inspector for the Town of West New York for 25 years. A former employee of the Thomas Henry Cement Co. in West New York, he was a member of the V.F.W. and the Anthony M DeFino Association, both of West New York. He was a peddler at heart. He was the husband of the late Matilda “Nellie” (nee Ciongoli); father of Ronald R. Theobald and his wife Gerry, and the late Robert Theobald; grandfather of Stacey Vitale and her husband Luigi, Renee Rodriguez and her husband Miguel, Keri Ochoa and her husband Eddie; and also survived by great-grandchildren, Ethan and Elise Rodriguez and Gianna Viatle; and a half brother Gus Theobald. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
