Softball tournament

On Oct. 23, a softball tournament was held at West New York Miller Stadium to support a great cause “Andy Garcia beating cancer a hit at a time”. Andy Garcia, 26, a former West New York student at #2 school and at High Tech High School, was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. Though he’s going through one of the most challenging times of his life, there is no doubt that he will win this battle with his faith in God, positive attitude and strength.
