Funeral services were conducted Jan. 24 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, for Gerard J. “Jerry” Quinn, 81, formerly of Jersey City. He died at home on Jan. 20. Jerry retired after working for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a member of the U.S. Constabulary in Germany. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kugelman Quinn; children, Paul Kugelman and his companion, Laura Bis, Susan Mitchell and her husband, Tim, Kathy Crothers, and Barbara McDonald and her husband, Jimmy; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Crothers, Emily and Meaghan Mitchell, and Scott and Craig McDonald; nephew, Robert Quinn and his wife, Noel and their children.
