A funeral service was held Jan. 24 for Valdierine Potter, formerly of Jersey City. She was the mother of Violet Potter and son-in-law Gladwin Francis. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Steve and Joseph Potter. She was the grandmother of 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister of seven brothers and four sisters. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Cotton-Parker Funeral Home, Jersey City.
