HOBOKEN — The city will begin to plow and clear snow from 11th Street and Vezzetti Way west of Willow Avenue on Tuesday, Feb. 1, and is asking residents to move vehicles from these streets. Failure to do so may result in cars being ticketed and towed.
“Despite the record amounts of snow this winter, our snow removal team has worked incredibly hard to keep our streets clear,” said Mayor Dawn Zimmer, in a release. “I want to thank them and our residents both for our cooperation in these efforts and their patience. Although it’s sometimes inconvenient, we must clear our streets as much as possible for public safety reasons.”
More winter weather is also on the way, as Accuweather predicts snow on Tuesday, Feb. 1 and rain on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Parking permit holders who have not been receiving automated phone messages from the city and wish to do so should contact the Parking Utility at (201) 653-1919 or e-mail parking@hobokennj.org.
