Funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 3 at St. Paul’s R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Lucienne M. Bartholomew, 86, of Jersey City. She died Dec. 29 at the Jersey City Medical Center. She was born in Skiplogen, Belgium, and lived for many years in Jersey City. She had been a self employed seamstress for many years prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Paul’s Seniors and St. Paul’s Rosary Society. She is survived by one brother, Wily Geets Cools; two sisters, Simone and Denise Geets; one nephew, Eric Franex. Also survived by her companion Frank Kearns. Services arranged by the Routh Funeral Home, Jersey City.
