Funeral mass was celebrated Dec. 13 at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Walter Gruszczyk, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He died Dec. 9 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel. He was a postal worker for the Jersey City post office. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a communicant of St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, Jersey City, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was the husband of the late Mildred. He is survived by his siblings, Blanche Terletsky and John Gruszczyk; sister-in-law Helen and her husband the late Edward Zurawski; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
