Zych addresses Gonnelli’s letter to the editor

Dear Editor:
I would like to address some negative implications that were made regarding my character in Secaucus Mayor Gonnelli’s letter to the editor that ran in last week’s Hudson Reporter. I am a lifelong Secaucus resident, and have served the community in various capacities over the last 30 years. I have been a democrat in good times and in bad, and I am proud to be running on the Democratic ticket under Column B, headed by Congressman Steve Rothman, and Undersheriff Frank Schillari.
I have always prided myself as being an honest, no-nonsense family man. I carry this same trustworthy, direct, community approach in my campaigning, and as a potential councilman. Regardless of who the residents choose to represent them during these tough times, I believe that partisan politics should be set aside for the benefit of the community, and that can only be done if the council elect remains willing to work together with the seated incumbents.
I wish all the candidates the best of luck this November 2nd. And I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the community as councilman for the Secaucus 1st Ward.
