A funeral mass was celebrated Oct. 4 at St. Aloysius Church for Rose M. Petta, 90, of Jersey City. She worked as the assistant dietician at the Pollack Hospital for many years. She was also an active member of the Boyd McGuinness senior group and resident association, and was a dedicated communicant of St. Aloysius Church. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Petta, Sr.; the mother of Joseph T. Petta Jr., and Thomas Petta and wife Marietta; and the grandmother of Thomas Joseph Petta. Services arranged by McLaughlin Funeral Home of Jersey City.
