Funeral mass took place Jan. 25 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church for Charles Banach, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He died Jan. 21 at Christ Hospital. He was a U.S.Army veteran and he worked in security at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, he retired in 1982. He was the son of the late Stanislaw and Frances Kwiatkowski Banach, and brother of Mary Anna Helen Riebe and the late Anna Mohlman, Estelle Banna, Leo Banach and Frank Banach. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Bromirski Funeral Home, Jersey City.
