BHS boys’ tennis team seeks players

There is still time to sign up for the boys’ tennis team at Bayonne High School. Even if you have never played, but are athletic, the coach would like to see you.
Freshman and sophomores, who are interested in playing a spring sport, are encouraged to contact coach Broderick as soon as possible to pick up medical forms. No experience is needed because the coach is willing to teach and train you. He has made all county players and won county championships with players who never played tennis until they came to B.H.S. Let the coach decide if you have a future playing competitive tennis by coming out for the team.
All candidates interested in trying out are requested to see coach Broderick in the table tennis room in the ice rink during periods zero and six or in the golf area during periods two, five, and seven to pickup your medical forms. Physicals must be taken and passed.
The first team practice is set for Friday, March 5th at 3 p.m. rain or shine. A team meeting will be held on Thursday, March 4th at 2:45 p.m. in the Main Gym.
The Bees have won the county title 11 out of the last 14 years.
