BAYONNE — Incumbent 3rd Ward Bayonne Councilman Gary La Pelusa, who recently provided grand jury testimony against Assemblyman Anthony Chiappone, has taken out the necessary paperwork that would allow him to run for reelection to the City Council, as well as paperwork to run for mayor of Bayonne.
” I guess I will make up my mind as I go along,” he said
The municipal elections for all mayor and all five council seats takes place in May.
