Recently the Hoboken Fire Department conducted its annual toy drive

and on December 22, 2009 they visited the Hoboken University Medical Center. The purpose of this visit was to cheer up children who are unfortunately in the hospital during this holiday season. Santa, along with members of the Hoboken Fire Department, delivered toys to each child on the pediatric floor and also to any child who may have been in the emergency room waiting for medical attention. The extra toys were left behind for Christmas morning. The attending nurses will be distributing them when the children awake.
