A memorial service took place Jan. 8 for Carmen Marie Diaz, 67, of Jersey City. She died Dec. 23. She was the daughter of Carmen Ricoy Diaz and the late Joseph C. Diaz; the sister of Joseph A. of Arizona, Maria T., Manny Diaz, Rosita McGovern and the late Tony R. Diaz; the sister-in-law of Karen, Christine, Daniel Guerra and the late Patrick McGovern; the aunt of Joseph P. Diaz, Lisa and Jamie Zitani, Joanne and Erica Diaz, Anthony McGovern, Tina Mayo, Maria and Jorge Hernandez, Tyler, Erika, Jayden, Anisa Kaylee and the late Eric M.; the cousin of Sonia and George Margalef and of many cousins in Spain and Germany.
