A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 5 at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Secaucus, for Joseph Gabriel “Joe the Barber” Guadara, 74, of Union City, formerly of Secaucus. He passed away Dec. 30. Joseph owned Joseph’s Hairstylist in Secaucus for over 43 years. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Joseph was the founder and active member of Secaucus Sunday night group of Alcoholics Anonymous. Through his work in AA, Joseph will be missed by many members. He was the husband for forty years to Theresa A. (nee Rinchiuso) Guadara; the father of Annette Guadara and fiancé Mark Cooke and Mariano and Catherine Guadara, the grandfather of Joseph, Eric and Michael, and brother and brother-in-law of the late Salvatore and Susan Guadara. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
