On Sunday, December 27, 2009; devoted husband of Kathleen Lowery; beloved father of Donte N. and Vann Lester Jr., Jaleca C. and Charlotte M. Lowery, Laila J. (Cory) Hargrove and Yannah C. Taylor; grandfather of eight; loving son of Evangelist Evelyn Lowery and the late Marion Williams; dear brother of Alexander Fletcher Lowery, Annie Williams and four other siblings; special nieces Danita Belton; godmother Jannie Mae Edwards; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements were by the WATSON MORTURARY SERVICE. Interment, Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.
