Hoboken park used to illustrate coldest winter in 25 years

HOBOKEN — A publication called the International Business Times says that forecasters are predicting that this will be the coldest winter in 25 years. Meaning, the coldest winter since 1985, the year Mikhail Gorbachev became leader of the USSR, Wham! gave us their “Careless Whisper,” and Windows released version 1.0.
We don’t remember having that many snow days that year, do you?
Anyway, the Business Times mentions none of that, but does show a cold-looking photo of people playing on Pier A in Hoboken. Check it out here.
Then return, of course, to www.hudsonreporter.com.
