A funeral mass was celebrated Oct. 10 at St. Aloysius Church for Barbara Ann Ranalli, 74. She passed away on Oct. 6 at Bayonne Medical Center. Barbara was a lifelong Jersey City resident. She was employed by Western Electric for 21 years and later received her license as an LPN and was employed by Morrell, Edelmann and Khawaja, P.A. until her retirement. Barbara was president of the Hudson Catholic Mothers Club and the head of her neighborhood committee. She was predeceased by her husband, the late John Ranalli. Surviving are her sons, Richard Jr. and his wife Susan and Thomas and his fiance Catherine. She was the sister of Mary Donohue, Joseph T. Massey, Charles J. Massey, Florence Miranda and the late William H. Massey. Barbara was the grandmother of Richard Jr., Robert and Marissa. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
