If you saw a lot of cameras and other equipment in front of Schnackenberg’s and Georgio’s Bakery in Hoboken Friday morning, here’s why: According to a man on the set, they were filming a Seaman Furniture commercial.
There was also a black dog on the set. When asked if the dog was a member of SAG, the man on the set said, “He’s in WAG.”
Schnackenberg’s is an old Hoboken luncheonette that has low prices and furniture that seems out of the 1950s. Georgio’s is a scrumptious place for cookies, cannolis, and other baked goods, even though it doesn’t have its own reality show like the Cake Boss downtown.
