A funeral service took place Oct. 2 for Eddie Scott. He passed away Sept. 24 at Compassionate Care at The Atrium. He had worked at Inland Steel Company as a cement mixer. He was the father of Beverly Scott, Diane Howard, Hanna Lewis and Deborah Williams; the grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of 10; the brother of Lewis and Cleveland Scott, Tyrone Smith, Deaconess Sally Holliday, Evelyn Reese, Sarah Woods and Mamie Stevens. He was the uncle of special niece Patricia Halley, and is survived by his special friend Annie Pridgen, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
