A funeral mass was celebrated Oct. 3 at St. Rocco’s R.C. Church, Union City, for Mirta A. Fernandez, 81. She passed away Sept. 30 at Hudson View Extended Care, North Bergen. She was born in La Habana, Cuba. Predeceased by her husband Rolando in 2001, she is survived by her daughter Jeannie Feria and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessica. She is also survived by a brother Armindo Perez and a sister Martha Alvarez. Services arranged by the Morgado Funeral Home, Union City.
