A funeral mass was offered Oct. 2 at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, for Joseph P. Cappoli. He passed away Sept. 28. Joseph was a life-long resident of Jersey City. He was employed by Erie Lackawanna Railroad for 18 years as a trackman. He retired in 1983. From 1984 to 1993, he was employed by Jamesway, Secaucus. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was also a mailman for Inter-office Delivery. He was the husband of the late Margaret; the father of Joseph M. and Anthony J. Cappoli; the son of the late Antonio and Pasqua Cappoli; the brother of the late Ida Jankowski, Benedict (Benny), Enrico (Duke) Julia, Salvatore, George, Dominick (Hymie), and Lucille (Mitzi) Cappoli.
