A funeral mass was offered July 7 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Palma Vitale, 97. She passed away July 1. Palma was born in Hoboken and was a lifelong resident. She was a devoted housewife and a beloved mother. Palma will be remembered for her special kindness, dedication to her family and many acts of charity and generosity. Palma was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Vitale, Sr. Palma is survived by her children, Christine Manente and her husband, Vincent, Martin R. and his wife, Barbara, Josephine Vitale Shainin and her husband, Richard, and Andrew Jr. and his wife, Catherine. Also surviving are the true joy in her life, her grandchildren, Andrea, Martin, Stephanie, Barbara, Jonathan, Christine, Andrew III, Lauren, Elyse, Stacy, Simone, and Anthony, and her great-grandchildren, Robert, Kate, Sarah, and Matthew. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank, Charles, and Louis Sebbio. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
