Golden Anniversary

On Saturday, June 13, 2009, Philomena & Dennis Kelleher will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Philomena ‘Earley’ Kelleher was born in County Leitrim Ireland and immigrated to Jersey City, NJ, USA in 1954. Philomena is the daughter of the late Michael & Maryanne Earley. Dennis Michael Kelleher was born and raised in Jersey City, attended St. Michael’s Grammar School and Dickenson High School. Dennis is the son of the late Michael & Kathleen Kelleher.

Philomena and Dennis met on St. Patrick’s Day at St. Patrick’s Church in Jersey City. They later married at St. Aedan’s Church and raised a family of four, Michael, Kathleen, Colleen and Maryanne. They are also the proud grandparents of Tara Anne and Julia Leigh Cangialosi and Megan Marie Kelleher.

Philomena is retired from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and Dennis is retired from PATH. Their lives have been blessed with the adoration of their children and their loving marriage of 50 years has served as a testament to all who know them, that a strong union requires dedication, commitment, honesty and respect.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for teaching us how to love, completely. Thank you for giving us all that you had to enrich our lives! We love you!
