VAIL, JOHN THOMAS JR.

A private service was held in Warwick, N.Y. for John “Shamrock” Vail, Jr., 46, of Jersey City and Greenwood Lake. He died on March 22 at St. Anthony Hospital, Warwick, N.Y. He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident before moving to Greenwood Lake in 2007. He worked as a self-employed handyman and in construction work. He was a very talented and artistic craftsman. He was the son of the late Teresa (nee Paczkowski) and John Vail, Sr. He was the father of his son Damion; the brother of Jennifer and her husband Oscar Gonzalez and Jacqueline; the uncle of C.J. Gonzalez, David and Eric; the nephew of Robert and Diane Paczkowski and Joseph and Patricia Paczkowski. He has also left behind a host of relatives and friends.
